@pitaj that plugin not showing in panel Rebuild and restarted still not coming

I am aware that one can subscribe to tags rss (no rss button around tags though). But can user set notification on selected tags as well? It would be good to have such features. Thanks

@markus9876 A little bit of both It is outdated in that as of v1.6.0, you no longer need to use emailer-local to send emails via sendmail or postfix or whatever. NodeBB has supported emails for discussion replies and mentions for many versions now

@julian Sorry forgot this one, mail notification settings says "Send an email if a new chat message arrives and I am not online" And I receive one even if I'm connected (but not on same tab) which does not match option configuration

@julian Ah ha, thanks for that. I'm still learning a lot of the features. I have the sendGrid plugin and it seems to work fine.

The unread page works well if the # of new posts per visit is fewer than 10. After that it gets a bit hard to keep up Some newer changes may make the list a little more manageable. /cc @psychobunny @baris

I've sent a PR to that plugin should be good after its merged and republished.

The second one could probably be achieved with 3rd party tools already. The best one I can think of would be IFTTT. Each category has an RSS feed, therefore if RSS feed gets updated. Send email. Full IFTTT support would be great, I'm not sure how that would work, but being able to set up that sort of thing would be bloody brilliant. Maybe even baked into nodebb, so we can set up "tasks" similar to how stamplay.com works. Just with a betteR UI.
