Customize email titles

How can I customize the title of emails from digests/notifications etc?

I’m currently receiving titles with the html tags included, and I’d like to strip these

What do you mean by title? Do you mean the subject line?

I am still getting emails like so:

IMHO you should open a bug report, as HTML tags should be stripped before going in the email subject.

I can't help because my forum is a ghost town and I very rarely get email notifications, never saw this problem

this was fixed in NodeBB v3.6.6
