The latest upgrade to 2.8.2 doesnt show in admin panel

Hi,

I just upgraded my local nodebb from 2.6.1 to 2.8.2 via the windows cmd and it said that the upgrade was complete. However in the admin panel, there still is the advice to upgrade and that 2.6.1 is running.

I did restart the forum but no difference.

@Topper just tried this myself and it works fine. Did you stop NodeBB before trying the upgrade? Can you provide the steps taken?

I'm guessing you just did ./nodebb upgrade without a git checkout first.

@phenomlab i did stop node bb before the upgrade.
@PitaJ ok i didnt do the checkout because it was under data backup and i didnt "launch" yet. Is it possible to do the checkout afterwards or should i checkout and do the upgrade once again?

@Topper you have to fetch, checkout, then run the upgrade.
