How can I make my forum private?

What's the best way to make my forum 100% private (i.e. - in order for anyone to see any of the forum topics, discussions, groups, categories, etc, they need to be a registered and logged-in user).

Where should I go in my admin portal and what should I do to make this happen?

Go to Manage -> Privileges and in there remove all privileges from guests for global and each category in the drop-down.

If you have a lot of categories you can use the copy to all categories option in the category privileges page.
