I think you should go to NodeBB Transifex project and request the language you want to translate to to be added to the project.
When it's approved you'll be able to join the team for this language and submit translations that will automatically be merged into NodeBB

@oplik0 transifex doesnt offer cantonese (iso code YUE). that's the problem.

Open an issue on GitHub asking us to add it to transifex.

Don't ask me why it's TW and not HK.

zh-TW is available for translation in Transifex, let me know if you run into additional issues
