How can I contribute with languages?
-
Hii!! I'm new to nodeBB, but I've grown to like MEAN stack and I think this might be a great opportunity to learn-by-doing.
I'd like to contribute, and being that i'm still a noob here, all I can do for now is translate some languages. I might delve into code once I am experienced enough
I can offer to finish the whole spanish package, catalonian and maybe galician and some greek.
Also I can make a tutorial or two with things I learn while tampering a bit!
How do?
Cheers!!!

@chlorophyll translations are done via the Transifex project:

Awesome @Chlorophyll, be sure to join the @Translators group too
You don't get anything, but a badge...

Hi again. I'm the original poster, but this time with an account not associated to work haha. I just wanna say I've sent a request to join the translators group and I've started translating Spanish, with goals to full completion in a few days. See you!!

One quick question.
By "flag" (i.e.: "flagging a post") does it mean something simmilar to "denounce" or "report to an admin" or something that, basically, indicates the post should be revised because it may be inapproppriate?
Thanks!!

@renaissance in the context of NodeBB, yes. For instance, you can flag a post as spam.
-
Okay then!! It was hard work but it's finally done!!
Some strings might need revision but basically...
Spanish translation of NodeBB is 100% finished and ready to deploy!!!
Will tackle catalan translation in a slower pace, but rest assured that will be done too!!

Thank you very much!

Oh thank you all!!
To be honest, it is also in my own interest. I'm starting to delve into node and I plan to use it in the future for my own sites and applications so translating NodeBB is also in my best interest, since I'm gonna use it in the future for my sites, and I'll need my sites to be in a variety of languages hahah.
It'll be also nice to help a bit with the development, devoloping some random plugin, or just seeing how such a big project works so I can learn further about the works of Nodejs.
So it's also in my best interest too haha. You're probably gonna see me around quite a bit in the future, so... Hello to you all! And thanks for your kindness!!
