Thanks @evoixmr -- I did notice myself on another install that it didn't work on v1.x.x branch, but it might work on master again, so a small blip where it stopped working

Is the goal here to get the regular version work on v1.x.x branch? Is that possible without a workaround?

@julian you're welcome, by the way I notice that reload forum is back on master.
[email protected] is working fine on master.
@evoixmr I meant the existing version of custom-pages should work on master again...
In any case, @yariplus has some interesting ideas so if it pans out, then we'll go with his version and merge it into the published version.
@julian the version of @psychobunny work on master. The version of @yariplus have the same error on master and v1.3.0.
It would be great if we could fix this so I can upgrade
