Starting 'New topic' on a blank category setting

If you want to start a new topic at the recent post page the topic will be placed by default in the first categorie. Like here it will be placed in General Discussion.

Is there a way to change that into a blank category setting, so the user must choose a category?

Because many of my users just 'dump' topics in the default category because they are lazy

I think it makes sense to start it with blank, I myself have posted in the wrong category a few times because of this

Me did to. Thats why I put a bullshit category only accessable for me on my nodebb

Is it easy to make a plugin of this idea maybe?
