User Account Settings Only Working in Chrome
-
We just updated to 0.9.0. Noticing that if a user goes into their Settings on Firefox, the hamburger button shows up on the right, to the right of the sidebar widget but is overridden by the widget so on our side where the sidebar shows an ad, the profile settings go to the ad page rather than to the actual settings.
Tried the same thing on MS Edge and the settings button works but the settings menu displays off the left side of the screen and cannot be seen or used.
On Chrome it works but doesn't look natural, but seems completely functional. Users not on Chrome would have no way to know that there are settings at all as nothing indicating that settings exist ever appear for them (in my testing.)

Related.... getting wildly different rendering from three different browsers...
Chrome
Firefox
Edge
-
Persona being used here.

I am not able to do it even in Chrome. Also tried FireFox, Edge and Explorer just for kicks to get it to work. It still doesn't
-
That's odd, I'm not getting those strange results. Tried the different browsers and all were mostly the same and look normal. The menu button shows for me even with the sidebar. Only problem I'm having is the profile picture does overlap the name in some size sizes.

What theme are you using?

Does the page function as intended with the sidebar widgets removed?
If we remove that Chrome stays roughly the same, FireFox starts to work (with the button being way over on the side) and Edge continues to have everything off of the left side of the screen.

Here is FF with the sidebar widget off.

Can you guys post this on github (persona) please, I'll have a look. Do you guys have this problem on our community as well?

Looks completely different here. Completely being subjective. But the "background image" is big and makes the button make sense where it is AND I can click on here here in FF. On ML, the button is floating way out there to the right disconnected visually from the rest of the page.
-
The button is "in the same place" in absolute terms, but it is a completely different feel between the two persona instances.
-
Okay THIS site looks fine in Edge. Looks exactly like the Firefox screencap that I posted above. Nothing like the Edge from our install on ML at all.
-
Our Persona says that it is fully up to date with 4.0.31

GH issue opened.

Okay interesting. I wonder what causes the discrepancy between yours and ours? I'll have a look.

I'm wondering too. We have some avatar rendering issues, settings screen rendering issues, YouTube rendering both in size and thumbnails that don't show up.... all are minor but perhaps there is a single issue that is showing up in different ways but might be all related.
-
I doubt all are related, best post issues for each individual problem you encounter
-
Three issues posted thus far. Logged one with Persona, two with YouTube-Lite.

I just recently upgraded my forum to version 0.9.0 and have the same issue.
Firefox shows no Settings menu, additionally the user name is not only halfway under the profile picture, but also rendered in white so that it is not shown.
When selecting a custom skin the hamburger button appears in the area marked with the top left red circle.
This could at least help as a workaround for users experiencing the problem.Edit: I realised from the github discussion that this should be fixed in the current persona master.
I'll wait for 0.9.1 then.
