Apparently its possible to wrap nodebb in this to create a mobile app on gplay/appstore (mainly for the benefit of having push notifications). We already have a pushbullet plugin for that purpose but I thought I'd share this anyways

This looks interesting, I haven't been that happy with pushbullet on this forum. I'm on iOS and every time I get a notification, I get a notification for every other unread alert I have since I last opened pushbullet. Anyone else?

@BDHarrington7 Not for me, once I swipe away a notification on Android 6.0 it doesn't appear for me again. I also checked the settings, nothing there for it.

Yeah I think it's some issue with how pushbullet handles notifications on iOS; it's not happening on the phone itself, but rather I get a bunch of notifications on my pebble with every update, but no other app has that issue

@BDHarrington7 Ah you're using a smartwatch, I'm expecting my smartwatch in ~2-3 days, I shall see if I will have the same problem then.

you could use telegram plugin for push, works faster than pushbullet app on iOS

Cool, I'll take a look. The only reason why I was going with Pushbullet in the first place was because I had heard of it before, and because community.nodebb.org uses it, lol
