User/ Profile settings button or link

For me it was not obvious where to find my profile settings. Don't misunderstand me, it is simple to find. But I also know how non-tech users are. I have one small community with some other cms (not as good as this one) and my users ask me always how to do this or that, which is obvious for me, but not for them.

my suggestion would be to make a clearer button for settings, when you click on the image. Because my first impression was: "Thats only my online/ofline status, but where is the profile or settings"

I agree with you on that point. I was confused at first too.

Maybe the online status in (2) should be on the profile photo at (1). Then at (2) there should be something like "Account Homepage"

We can add a link in that dropdown that takes you straight to /user/slug/settings
