Let's Encrypt - Free legitimate SSL Certs

I can not get it working. The release date they say is September 2015 and the problem is it sets up quite easily (for me) but I don't understand the configuration process really. It supports Apache & nginx but I am probably not understanding something and missing something. It has an automatic setup and run via the letsencrypt command line tool but that just seems too easy for nodebb's proxy setup.
Has anyone had any success setting this up on perhaps ubuntu etc ?

@julian I've been watching this project for a while. As soon as they said they were ready to put down a release schedule everyone went nuts for it and their github issues skyrocketed with all the new users testing it. I wouldn't be surprised if it's later. But yeah, it's really cool. Especially if you can save £30 on every domain/subdomain!

This is very exciting. I'd love to get this implemented for our hosted clients
Let me give it a try today, perhaps. If it's coming out in September, I'll wait before giving it a try. That would definitely be great for those of us on the hosted environment. Less bothering you guys to put our certs in

Can't wait for this!

I don't know if you guys are aware, but StartSSL offers free level 1 SSL certificates. I use apache2 as proxy and it is very easy to setup.
