@julian it was worth a hint hint nudge nudge Serious tho appreciate the help that is at the forum... My first attempt at running a web server and virtual server.... Heck even new with linux itself lol I'm one of those that always has questions about the update process..... every time.... lol Hopefully one day your big enough to also have a package for the little guys. @julian Thanks mate... I had a bit of a play with it.... Works as advertised... Great plugin. I'd love the ability to share a copy of the assets folder somehow as well tho. But I know this wouldn't be very safe.

I had a fairly smooth setup going with version 6..... Just email dramas. Seemed more than stable. I couldn't believe how fast it served the forum. I was amazed lol The worry was building out the forum then it come unstable once too many users and posts clogged up the system. Seemed fine with basically no posts and 3 users on at once. PM etc was all fast. Using a cloud system to build it all out for now. Once I get the backing up and restoring all sorted I'll have a look at moving back to the Pi. Extreme Noob. Still haven't worked out or researched backups lol.

hmmm ok... So.... I can login when going thru the domain address but when using the local IP I cannot log in... Very Strange

My forum hasn't gotten big enough to worry about password reset emails so I'm not sure it's working. Have to double check. Crap. Not enough rep to double post. Some rep please lol

Thanks for the reply.... Yes I did try that.... No luck...... The difference is mine half works straight out of the box. I will try another complete reinstall and follow those instructions again.
