I do not know if this is precisely the same as your issue but it seems to be in the same family. @julian said in 'Category Privileges' does not seem to work: I can confirm that the "Access Topics" privilege is not functioning correctly, so will need to look into that. However, with "Create Topics" disabled, the "New Topic" button is not present, and the category itself is not present in the composer dropdown, so that privilege is working as intended. https://github.com/NodeBB/NodeBB/issues/4753 Specifically: @julian said in 'Category Privileges' does not seem to work: Fixed in latest master, the labels were swapped, so "Access" was actually controlling "Create", and vice versa.

Now I just feel the need to create nodebb-plugin-rot26. BRB, trying to mock bcryptjs to provide genSalt and hash functions that do nothing and compare function that just compares two strings

My login page is (almost) entirely blank on my production server but works ok on dev and staging (heroku). Found the answer - The script starting NodeBB must be in the nodebb directory otherwise the minifier will fail as above. Changed my Upstart script as follows: cd $LIVE_DIR exec node app.js >> /var/log/blahblahblah/nodebb.log

If there were multiple topics with the same slug I would show the user a list of those topics with a summary text of the body content and allow them to click on the one they want to read. Anyone know of some sample code to find a list of topics based on the slug?

I am new in nodebb, but I really like it. The only problem I have encountered so far is the card slider. Could you tell me how I can add this so my "Recent topics" look exaclty the same way as in the community.nodebb.org?

Or perhaps there is some way to specify which theme to use when starting the NodeBB server? I can't see a way to do this in the config.json file. Can it be changed on the command line? I'm starting it on Heroku by just running the app.js: node app.js

@yariplus I'm trying in the same way like you mentioned. created: static/images in node_modules/nodebb-theme-persona in plugin.json i have added the below line "acpScripts": [ "lib/admin.js" ], "staticDirs": { "images": "static/images" } and in the header file i'm trying to get the image like below <img src="/plugins/nodebb-theme-persona/images/logoWithText.png" /> but this is not working. Please suggest what am i doing wrong Thanks

Found the problem: Step 3 requires that the server accept HTTP POST - I was only accepting GET.
