So i just downloaded NodeBB and fully set it up. However i don't think during the setup it ever asked for a administrative username and password, i have tried multiple attempts to access it in Redis or give another user admin rights but i can't get it to work. Please help!
@OmegaJT22 it should have asked for an admin account username and password. If it didn't that was in error. Did you use the web installer or the CLI installer?
@OmegaJT22 yes just delete your config.json and run ./nodebb setup again, with a different database name
@OmegaJT22 yeah, I said to use a different database name. You used 0 again. You could delete it and use 0, or try 1 or something else.
I suggest using MongoDB if you're running on Windows, though. It's a lot easier to set up and a lot more stable. I say this specifically because it looks like you haven't set up Redis correctly.
