Use a gif image as avatar

Hello:

I have a forum with NodeBB 1.2.1.

Some users want to use animated gif as avatar, but when they try to uplad the images only can select jpg, bmp or png.

I've installed the nodebb-plugin-imagemagick but nothing changes.

Is possible to use animated gif?

I solved the problem many months ago, installing the plugin nodebb-plugin-imagemagick.

It always "just worked" for us. No plugin necessary.

@arranka Have you checked if you have the Convert profile image uploads to PNG option on Uploads settings disabled?

If the plugin has not been updated, easily it no longer works.
