How do we bulk delete spam posts / messages?

Our moderators can delete posts. But every now and then we get spam attacks so we need to be able to delete in bulk.

Also as an admin do I purge these deleted posts from the backend side?

Thanks @baris , did it come with 1.2 ? as we're still in testing mode and migrating data we're using a lower version currently. Also how do I purge the data from the database?

I think it is available since 1.0, if you purge posts after deleting they are removed from the database.

@baris Thanks a mil for these insights! I saw "Delete Posts"inside a topic but is it possible to bulk delete topics as well? Spammers often creates hundred times same topic.

@greenmoon yes you can. Select multiple topics and then use the "Delete Topic" under "Topic Tools"
