Another way to format quotes in replies?

Hi All, is there another way to format QUOTES when replying to a post? Right now quotes are presented next to a vertical bar, has anyone tried a different presentation or design ? If yes, can you show the link?

I like this forum but not a big fan of the default format when quoting someone 's text in a post.
