How to disable the img resizing when uploading the topic thumbnails?

Hihi, how to disable the img resizing to n*n when uploading the topic thumbnails?

I want to use the topic thumbnails'(origin img) url to display in the main page (large img, not resized img), so i don't wanna resize it ~

Don't think there's a way in core. You can do this using the filter:image.resize hook though. I use this on some themes. This works on profile images too.

theme.imageResize = function (data, next) {
	next(null, data)

@yariplus Do you mean that i should make a simple plugin to hook filter:image.resize and do nothing in it ?

@Jam you can modify core a bit to disable image resize for topic thumbnails.

comment out the call to image.resizeImage on this line

hi, do you mean that i make a simple plugin to hook filter:image.resize and do noting in it like @yariplus said above, can not stop resizing the thumbnail img?

@Jam no, it will work but I don't think there is a way to differentiate if it's topic thumbnail or profile image or something else. So, it will disable resizing for all image uploads.
