mentions not working properly

I installed the plugin but somehow users are not receiving notifications unless they follow the person who quoted. What could it be?

That's a very weird set of symptoms, since the follower notifications have nothing to do with the mentions notifications...

When you are following somebody and get a notification when they mention you, is it the same "x mentioned you" notification?

@julian it's very strange. now both quote and reply are not working. if someone quotes me in a topic I don't receive any notification.

I have redactor compose instead of the tradicional compose btw.

@merlls don't think mentions work with redactor composer. see here...
