Sounds like apache or some other web server might already be running on that port.
ps aux | grep apache
I changed the domain on my NodeBB Installation, and everything is working fine however
I cannot login / register, it says error forbidden, invalud crsf token,
When I inspect the headers, some parts are still the old domain name.
I've cleared cookies, but that didn't change anything.
Also, I can login if I visit the website via the IP address directly or the old domain, just not the new domain name.
@Kowlin I know the site works fine. I am the one setting it up, if you read my post the site displays fine, but you can't login / register.
Ah I thought you're a user for that site, anyhow what webserver do you use and can you post your reverse proxy?
Edit: I also see you're using the xframe option. try making a second site in your Nginx/Apache config and making it the same reverse proxy as your current one.
so create a second server block?
@Sean Correct, then make a reverse proxy with that server block as you did in your first one. After that change your NodeBB config to take the new domain in effect.
@Kowlin no change unfortunately
hmm, have you restarted both NodeBB (After editing its config) and Nginx?
Issue is solved, seemed to be a wrongly set
