Same situation here. I would love to use this theme but is not working with the current NodeBB version.
Any suggestion of related themes or idea about if it's discontinued?
Here are some links with active community's.http://talk.radxa.com/
Hope that helps.
Actually, if someone could go through and let us know which ones are down, then we could prune the list
@julian Haha, alright. Got nothing to do anyways, just the list on the main page or also unadded sites?
Even just telling us which ones to remove from the "Who is Using NodeBB" thread... apparently it's one of the pages Google suggests when you google NodeBB
I believe @baris has updated the topic now
BitBangers.co.uk has been online for a good year and half now. Hardly any members but its just somewhere for a few online mates to have chat.
http://www.spflforum.com is a small Scottish football community I run. Moved to NodeBB early this year.
@Danny-McWilliams ive added this in the main list already, should be in there somewhere
I'll see if I can deploy a wiki or similar
@Kowlin maybe it should be on our wiki on github.
@baris Will try to send a PR in the next 30 min.
Pull request made here:
why not create configurable heartbeats so you can automatically get a list of running nodebb instances
Admins should be able to opt out though.
@belstgut I can see people having a issue with that, think of private forums or community's or more NSFW community's.
@Kowlin Thats why you should be able to disable it.
Make it an option during installation for example
But still... Where would you say, "OH! BTW, we will track your installations (by default or whatever) on version X.X".
@Kowlin Make it a mandatory config option, so people who want to upgrade would have to manually add the option to the config. (either true or false depending on if they want to promote their forum)
