It burns going down, but don't worry too much about it

Unless there's tritium in it (which is unlikely)
-
True, but it comes with the downside of not drinking vodka.

I thought vodka was made with potatoes.
-
Potatoes are a grain? Actually where do potatoes come from? I know they can come from other potatoes, but of course there must be a grain.
These are the hard questions

Potatoes are a starch.

I don’t to go on a wikipedia hunt right now, for potato starch, but if you could educate me further, I would appreciate it

It can be made with either! I think most vodka you get (at least in the US) is made with grain, but there are distillers who specifically make potato vodka, too.

Not much to it, The starch is essentially just a type of complex carbohydrate, and potatoes are known to carry them in abundance. So while a potato is still technically a vegetable, it's often referred to as a starch or starchy vegetable because of how much starch it contains.

Anything containing sugar can be turned into alcohol. Some easier than others.

Wonder how that'd affect the sales. Could either become local flop or a worldwide hit.
