[nodebb-plugin-calendar] Fully featured calendar plugin for NodeBB - Testers needed

This error "Cannot read property 'day' of undefined" has something to do with my IP address or time zone probably. Not sure though.
When I change my IP address to one in United States the error does not appear but still the event does not show up in calendar.

@evoixmr I've opened an issue to track this. pitaj/nodebb-plugin-calendar#70

Hi Pitaj,
Thank you
I moved to this commit and upgraded to new version also. There is no error as such but the event still does not get display in /calendar.
This is the event I created http://forums.cotourist.com/topic/13/kasol-trip-by-tripver-2nd-june
but I can't view this event at http://forums.cotourist.com/calendar
in month of June'17 -
@archprateek Maybe you need to be logged in to see it?
-
@azeus
There is definitely some issue with permissions. Not sure what it is.All registered users are able to post events. Only Administrators are able to click on yes to any event posted by any user. All others get the error "Error, You do not have enough privileges for this action"
None can see any event in /calendar. Admin, registered users and guest. Calendar remains blank.
I am also unable to uncheck any of the two option in calendar plugin settings. After save and reload, it gets revert to both checked.

Installed on NodeBB 1.5.1. Seems still working good for me. Tks

Whenever I create an event in a post and click submit, it appears as blank.
Then I have to click on edit post, then edit event and then resubmit the post. Then the event appears in post.
Because it is not submitted in first instance it does not appear in /calendar view.
Any idea how I can resolve this issue?
Nodebb version 1.5.1 calendar 1.0.0-alpha.28

I have this issue as well, we can live with it but hope it will be fixed
-
@archprateek are you sure it's not submitted? Have you tried reloading the page instead of editing the post?
-
@PitaJ @archprateek @azeus Same issue here. After submitting the original post, the event code tags are changed to "event-invalid". When editing the post, I can either manually edit the tags to "event", or use the composer button to edit the event. In both cases the event shows up as fixed.
I've also posted a new issue here:
https://github.com/pitaj/nodebb-plugin-calendar/issues/72My guessing is that those issues are related to date formatting and/or user locale, which explains why they don't show up reliably on all setups.
-
@pejuaxel that issue in particular is due to how the redis database stores everything as a string. Different from how mongo works, which is what I use in my development environment. I've made a fix I think and am about to release a new version.
-
@azeus ok well this should fix it regardless of DB
