Hello/introduction/feature requests/thanks

I'd like to say NodeBB is very exciting. It's so clean and functional, it really looks and feels next-gen. So forgive me if I get a little carried away here with my fantasy list of features. I'm not a developer, I'm a graphics designer, so i don't quite know what is or totally isn't possible with this software.
Next month I'd like to start working on a forum for what could end up as a fairly large group, and we have a bucket list of fantasy features:
- Featured threads/articles for our local journalists, magazines, lobby groups, politicians.
- Events calendar for our local shops, track day organizers, charity events, rallys television shows, etc. It would be nice if people could rsvp.
- It would be really nice if threads could be tagged with a date, time and location so people can search for threads about events could be searched by date and distance.
- There will be several for sale subforums. It would be nice if these threads were organized like classifieds, filterable by category, price, distance, etc.
- It would be really nice if forsale threads were tagged with a location, and even the VIN number so members could buy/sell with full disclosure.
- Closed registration, invite by current members-only.
- The goal would be that moderators arent needed. Either youtube style where five thumbs down hides a comment/ give thread-starters the ability to delete comments/ban users from their thread.
- No embedding necessary. Type in a url and if it's a valid image or a video it self-embeds.
- A shop to sell stickers, teeshirts, things to keep the lights on.
- Above all it's got to have a look/feel of beauty and simplicity. The goal here is to make a real social media platform that we wish forum were.
This is just the bucket list. If people think that any of these are eventually possible, please message me I'd like to talk to you.

I think a few of these features already exist
its 3:20 am here so I'm going to sleep instead of replying properly 
one thing I do have to say though, is that we need more theme designers (we only have our awesome @trevor that is doing some cool things so far), so I think there's a lot of room for you to be able to contribute I hope

6 - there's a way to close registration up, so I think building an invite box in the admin panel might not be too difficult
7 - right now there's a moderator threshold you can set in the control panel (ex. if you hit 1000 reputation, you become able to delete posts). At some point we'll implement a thumbs down as well
8 - right now we have the youtube, dailymotion, and vimeo plugins. For images, you'd need to use markdown syntax ex.
although a plugin for this could be possible as wellI think everything else will find themselves implemented via plugins at some point in time. All of them are valid and pretty important things to have!

Thats very exciting. For #7, new members tend to ask questions and get hazed by the veterans. Flame wars start this way and eventually someone gets banned and/or the new member quits the forum. Giving a new member moderator powers of their own thread should work. I think psychologically, simply knowing that you can delete offensive comments alleviates much of the stress of being a new member. You don't feel quite as powerless.
