Wordpress plugin

I was wondering if its possible to have in future plans a comment plugin for wordpress like discourse (and I think vanilla forums) are doing.

I'd be more worried about discus than discourse for a wp plugin but that's just me.

I use discus currently and it's very well rounded.

yup discus is the primary competition in this space

err disqus f'n autocorrect..

great comment program.. commentluv is also starting to gain traction mainly because it has the base Facebook comments built right into it.. it also uses disqus, google, wp comments, etc.. but i feel like it looks cheap compared to disqus and it fragments comments to 3-4 tabs
