The GTA V Re-release Topic.

  • I've just watched an hour long special on what's to come in the PS4 version of GTA5, I had no intention of getting it just for higher res textures. But they've far surpassed that. The list of improvements is massive. Biggest of which is the whole first person mode. Really opens it up as a real competitor to games that concentrate on First Person shooters. Destiny, BF Hardline, COD etc. The online aspect can have game modes locked to 1st person or not. It looks bloody mental. I'm getting it. πŸ˜†

    @a_5mith

    I'm still waiting for the MASTER RACE release. (PC)

    It's going to be even more epic, or so I've been told.

  • @pitaj The only difference they've released about the PC version (coming in January) is that it will support 4K.

    Pft, is that a windows phone XD

    GTA:VC will always have a special place in my heart. Beat it 100% at least 5 times, and even learned how to drift in the cars in that game XD what a waste of my adolescence.

    However, GTAV ruined the entire series for me because of their awful device encryption and mandatory always-online "Social Club".

    I had two disk drives, GTAV managed to brick one of them. Never again.

  • @julian Each character has a different device, Franklin has an Android phone, Michael, an iPhone, Trevor has a Windows Phone. It's very cleverly done.

    I don't believe the social club log in was a requirement was it? I know GTA4 on PC required Games with Windows Live, which was, vBulletin basically. (That should be the new term for awful. πŸ˜†)

    Vice City was a great one, I've played them all, possibly the only game franchise where I've bought every version of it. Gran Turismo was another on that list, but I didn't buy 6. Mainly because I'd gone over to Xbox 360 by that point. But I'll be getting a PS4 again. The Xbox One is a disappointment from what I've seen.

    ain.

    +1 for Vice City being the best!

    I think that I am the only person how did not enjoy GTA:V. I think it was the most overrated game to come out last year. It looked great and the maps are huge but the story lacked a lot of things. I found it hard to follow and it didn't really explain much.
    I can't even remember most of it and I only played it a year a go but I can remember a hell of a lot more of GTA: Vice City.
