@CyanPrime not sure how that's fixed it as your route inside theme.less doesn't actually point to the vanilla template. For that file to point at vanilla, you'd be looking at ../../../nodebb-theme-vanilla, but if it works then, so be it. 😆
0.5.3 Is Out ( CHANGELOG )
Sorry for my ignorance.
But i'm new with NodeBB.
Before I used Joomla - PhpBB and WordPress.
@Master-Antonio, we all start somewhere. Questions are great because they help you learn.
The best way I've found to learn a new platform is to just set up a test environment and explore every option and capability that the admin panel offers. Find out what you like and then make changes accordingly.
@Ted To continue to that, if you break it, start again.
@a_5mith, and to continue that:
You will break things. Frequently. But that's okay, just undo your changes and give it another go!

How do you denote breaking changes in data schema. Specifically, can I upgrade my redis data that was built on v0.5.0 to v0.5.3?
I found 1 incompatibility already - public/upload seems to be organized differently.
We usually make thread about it in the forum, and keep breaking changes to major releases like 0.6.0 will have breaking changes. You can upgrade from 0.5.0 to 0.5.x the upgrade process will take care of upgrading your redis or mongo database.
Yeah in general we do make a new blog post if there's something really outstanding and we really would love if you upgraded to latest kind of thing. 0.5.2 -> 0.5.3 was mostly minor bugfixes and such, we only really released it because we're going to
(and add a bunch of cool things) very shortly.
We found a few bugs popping up with the update. Will post them in a second.
