GitHub Student Developer Pack
-
I know we have a fair number of students here, so I thought I'd mention that GitHub released a whole bunch of paid stuff FREE for students!
Some highlights I thought were really cool

Was just speaking to some friends about this and they were most excited about the free SSL cert, so I guess it wouldn't hurt to let people here know that you can get free SSL certificates from StartSSL.
Granted, they're not wildcard certificates (which means that they only work for the subdomain and master domain you register for), but you can get as many as you like, so there's no excuse not to

Digital Ocean are also giving away a free t-shirt to anyone that has submitted more than 50 commits to ANY github repo through the month of October, towards the end of the month they'll upload a form for you to fill out, making my soundcloud oauth plugin = about 68 commits because I suck. So I'm in. It's not a bad looking t-shirt to fair.

@a_5mith And @psychobunny was just complaining that he's been kicking @baris and my butts in commit counts this month.
Time to reverse this trend :goberserk:

Wow, thanks @julian. This will really help me out

Jetbrains has a year free products for students started. Including my favourite IDE IntelliJ IDEA
-
I wish I was a student, this is awesome stuff
-
@Technowix Yes. They've had the micro Github plan for students for about 2 years now, but now they partnered up and offer you more stuff.

Oh this is lovely. Excellent share.
