Disable "pinterest" style of lavender theme
-
I really like the way lavender show the category info but I don't like the way it arrange the categories like pinterest. It's hard to see and messed up the homepage.
Can any one help me to disable that?
Thank you so much!

Thank you. -
Hey there,
The pinterest style of category ordering is a feature inherent to Lavender. There are other themes that don't rely on this (like classic theme), or you can try the classic home plugin, which might modify Lavender with a more traditional category listing.

@julian Thanks. I just want to keep the way lavender show the post preview without pinterest.
I set the height fixed up and it looks fine.
Just a temporary -
@Hưng-Thà nh-Nguyễn did you manage to disable the pinterest style feature? if so, do you mind sharing?

@agarcia17 Admin CP > Appearance > Themes > Choose theme

@Scuzz thanks, but is it possible to keep the Lavender theme and just disable the "pinterest" feature?
-
@agarcia17 Just fix the height of your items and comment the masonry part in lavender.js
-
@agarcia17, are you referring to how Lavender shows posts under each category? This can be edited on the categories page.
-
@agarcia17 The Pintrest feature isn't really a feature, it is the theme. The classic theme is different and more oldschool style.

yeah sorry guys, I was thinking the original poster was referring to the way the categories lined up/moved around depending on the size (# of replies showing) of the categories. I guess I was just trying to find a way to set a fixed position for each category. I'm trying to get my home screen to look something like this.

The Classic theme is based off of Lavender yet it does not have the pinterest-style categories.
