Sorry to bring back to life this topic, but i working more on microsoft technologies.

@Pedro-Cruz it's a good exercise to practice writing in different languages! I also used to work in C#, but it's been shown that programmers become better programmers by learning different languages. Javascript / Node.js is pretty popular right now, and I believe it to be really beneficial in learning how to think functionally / asynchronously.
