February 2023 Developer Update

Hello all, and happy Monday.
Has it already been a full month since my last developer update? Time flies!
We changed slightly how we communicate information. Part of that was detailed in my update about re-shuffling categories, but the main bit is that we will try to write little digests to summarize what's been going on monthly in case you don't come to this forum only a daily basis like we do
v3.0.0-beta.2
This past Friday, we released v3.0.0-beta.2 for developer consideration. As always, we encourage early adopters to report any bugs they find to the Bug Reports thread or category.
Tests re-enabled for the Read API
We found that there were some inconsistencies with our API documentation, which led to the discovery that part of our testing suite had been commented out for quite awhile. We fixed that and brought the schema back up to date to match.
Revised search page design
We updated the search page on Harmony with a new design that de-emphasizes the search options (without eliminating/hiding them) and hopefully presents content in a more readable way.
All about emails and how they're used in NodeBB
A short blurb about how emails are handled by NodeBB, why you're able to register with no email, why it's not a big deal, and why we decided to do it.
Updated User and Flag Pages
User listing and flag management pages have also been updated in Harmony — again de-emphasizing filters/ancillary controls and promoting the content.
Experimentation Roundup: At-a-Glance Navigator
Perhaps you noticed a new topic navigator during beta 1... if not, no worries, we rolled it back because it had some faults
