I got "./nodebb: Is a directory" error

I wanted restart nodebb coz can't login (always error about credentials) and I got new error in command line:

nodebb@AMS1536:~$  ./nodebb restart
-bash: ./nodebb: Is a directory

I suspect that these 2 problems are somehow connected. The forum started normally with the usual command ./nodebb start
After that, I swapped the database with a local copy and everything seemed to work fine. I logged in as admin and set up the admin panel, and today I found that I can not log into the forum in another browser.

You are probably just in the wrong folder. Try

cd nodebb
./nodebb stop
./nodebb start

@baris ohh sure, I forgot enter to NodeBB folder. I was at home/nodebb, but I needed home/nodebb/nodebb

Yeah can get confusing when the user is named nodebb and nodebb is installed in the nodebb folder

Yep exactly, since in general the best practice is to create one user per service, it's often named as the product ha ha
