This is just a minor release. For the issues solved, please check our GitHub page.
Hi! Julian, Baris, and myself are trying to see if we could help bankroll NodeBB development by offering up our services on the side. If you were looking for a custom theme or a plugin to be made for your NodeBB forum, let us know!
EDIT: List of sites that have taken up on this limited time offer -
How much per plugin?
I'd imagine it would depend on the requested features
Yes it really depends on what you were looking for. Just throw an idea out and a budget and let's see what we can do!
See my post here - possibly relevant
I'd love to help develop a theme, or themes. Not sure about buying into one. Do you have examples of former work? Sorry if this should be obvious, I'm pretty much brand new here (ignore the registration date).
I do, I do!
I am done with VB and your forum is everything I want.
I have it installed and running and have a bootstrap based site.
Could you guys please PM me?
Doing it now. Thanks!
I am very interested. How can I get a hold of you with what I was looking for? if possible I would also like to pay for tutoring on how you created the theme.
Find me on Twitter @JGallardo2600
If there's a custom theme you'd like us to build, as @julian said above send us an email and we'll try and work something out
As for tutorials, I am planning on creating a few wiki pages as well as a blog post or two explaining the theme engine
I'll be in touch with you as soon as the military gives me my retroactive disability, SUPPOSEDLY the 1st, but I've been hearing that for 7mos and they owe me back to 2006.
Definitely want to take advantage of this.
Im thinking about using nodeBB to start a forum for a small motorcycle community. part of that forum would be a subthread used to post classified ads to sell gear. Maybe it would be as simple as uploading an image to accompany the title?
You gentlemen still doing this?
Very impressed as always with both this site, and the example at OHFB.
PS, am writing this in Firefox, and the box or some sort've blue rectangle to the right of 'upload images by dragging and dropping them' is only showing the bottom half.
Oooh, I had to drag and resize the box I was typing in, the 'reply' was mostly hidden. I'm not sure if I did that accidentally without noticing it or if it started that way.
EDIT: Oh, it's the 'reply' box that's visible underneath this box I am typing on, I clicked it to get here. Looks weird half-hidden like that, I now understand it's a layer below but still a little weird placement once this box comes up..
