How to auto-assign new users to specific groups?

I found a plugin called '
nodebb-plugin-assign-newuser-to-group', but it doesn't seem to work well with the recent build. After installing and activating, Nothing happens to the admin Pannel.
Is there a way to automatically assign new users to specific groups?

@pitaj I did. if it works well with the current version, where is the settings menu located?

@pitaj @PitaJ I got these errors in dev mode after activating the plugin. looks like something needs to be fixed.
