How to follow someone

Greetings, can anyone tell me how to follow a poster? I have clicked on their username, looked all through their posts, but nowhere can I discover how to follow their posts.

@mikejody this is actually a really bad discoverability bug. But, when you go to someone's profile page, you click on the little plus icon to the bottom right of their avatar.
