Badge-like Plugin for Forum Patrons?

Over at axisandallies.org/forms several dozen people contribute per year contribute to the upkeep of the website and forums. In exchange, they get a badge. On SMF, I created a group for each year and level and the badge appeared.
This is an extreme example:
In NodeBB, if I use the group method, only one appears on each post (and rightly so).
Boardgamegeek does a decent job of consolidation and uses an (IMO ugly) rollover to expand:
Are there any plugins to get me even close to something where I can reward my subscribers?
I'm looking for a way to show more than one badge-link thing on every post. Like in the images that I attached above.

What kind of additional features are you looking for? NodeBB already supports groups, though custom badge icons aren't a thing. They could be done with custom CSS, though, I think.

I updated my initial post but I'm looking for something that allows more than one badge-like thing to appear next to or under the username on every post.
