Hmm, I also noticed that a new user account registration was pending approval, but a click on the little red indicator icon lead to no redirection. Only something like "show all notifications" finally showed me the approval queue, where than a click on the green icon also lead to no further actions. Seems the Admin panel is a bit shaky now. NodeBB runs inside VMware, no crash or so happened with weekly backups of the VM.

The core forum functions are working, so no big deal. If it falls apart I report back 😁

Wow, v0.6.0! That's going to be a fun one.

What I'd recommend is deploying a copy of your forum to a new environment purely to run the upgrade on it, then you can handle any errors that come up, and we can guide you through the process.

Now, of course, ideally, there won't be any errors, but v0.6.0 was a long time ago.... 😄

@MJ I haven't tested it yet because my installation works and I don't feel like reinstalling just yet 🙂
However, from what I've read, doing a git hard reset is what 'you should do', apparently.
My problem was that I thought I could perform a ./nodebb upgrade on an install that I did from a downloaded archive. You need to have checked it out from git. (I reckon). 😉
