If the title is written in Russian, then the links are very long. Database redis. Nodebb last version.

The links include the title of the post. You don't need to copy the whole link, just the /topic/[number] part

@erty You see how the full URL of this page is https://community.nodebb.org/topic/12182/transliteration-links? Well the last part isn't necessary. https://community.nodebb.org/topic/12182 will redirect to this page as well. So you can share that link instead.

Better yet, you can right-click on the timestamp next to the username for any individual post and copy that link, which will then redirect people to exactly that post in the topic. For instance, https://community.nodebb.org/post/67186 redirects to my first post in this topic.
