Optimizing Node BB speed and reach 90+ on Google Page Insights?

Guys, I have tested node bb loading speed from multiple tools, while it seems good right now, but there is always a room for improvement.

Here are my tests done so far and you can see Google and Pingdom gives some suggestions to further improve the speed.

We check Pingdom and PageSpeed multiple times a year to try to optimize the site. While it's difficult to get to 100, we're quite happy with the progress we've made so far.

Perhaps our CDN plugin needs to request gzipped assets?

AFAIK, whether or not the assets are gizipped depends on whether the CDN is served gzipped assets.

Well that's annoying, since we used to use nginx to gzip the assets.
