Animated Profile Pictures

How do i add the ability to upload animated profile pictures to my forum???
Its actually frustrating me a lot because i feel like I've tried everything! I'm not getting any errors when uploading gifs, they just simply aren't animating.

Things i've tried:

• Installing the imagemagick plugin
• Installing imagemagick on the server itself
• Getting frustrated
• Checked and rechecked every damn setting on the admin panel
• Restarted and reloaded about a million times

You should be able to get gifs working by installing nodebb-plugin-imagemagick

Nope, no luck.
I'll add a list of things ive done already to my original post.

Hm... have you tried nodebb-plugin-imgur?

I believe this broke when the cropper module was added. It shows the animated gif while cropping but when you save the image is turned into a png

As the above implies, using 3rdparties image host services could help.
