And maybe make a backup copy of your mongodb data dirs (while it is not running) and stash it somewhere safe before mucking about too much further. 😉

I'm not completely sure how this is happening. Because it is a fresh install of NodeBB with absolutely nothing changed. Apart from me changing the port to 1234.
