@田恩睿 It's probably better to keep the menu where it is, or at least in that file, but play around with the structure and CSS to have a left-side menu.
Right now it is pinned to the top using .navbar-fixed-top
Well, 0.4x is almost here, and as per tradition we should release a new official theme shortly after it hits. What would you guys like to see? What do you like/not like about Lavender and Vanilla? Is there stuff from other forums that you'd like to see implemented? Category homepage seems to be one of those things that people can have pretty divided opinions about. Maybe we should try something more traditional this time?
Feel free to submit your thoughts and ideas, and even PSD mockups if you'd like... (wishful thinking)
p.s. Speaking of PSDs, are there any actual designers around here besides @trevor?
EDIT: I should add that from now on official themes should probably take full advantage of the widgets system, allowing users to put widgets in all sorts of creative areas.
Well, who wants to guess what I'll like to see in the new official theme?
If you're talking sidebar's on every page, all I can say is, aleluyah! aleluyah!!
Actually, global sidebars and global footer will be coming to Lavender as well when it's ready
I simply hope it will look nice.
Time to update.
If you tell me what that top secret project is, I promise not to tell anybody else. Promise.
I'm pretty excite about the new theme. SHARE ALL THE DETAILS!
I'd like a link to the last message in a topic because with the current theme in topics with many messages it will scroll down by 20 messages each time you press the (near # out of #)

A million times this.
I fancy myself a designer! I'm going to spend the weekend putting together a PSD.
I have a great layout in mind.
lol @randymdaniel -- apparently, we have the same ideas in mind
@julian + @psychobunny ... Started messing around with some ideas this weekend. I encountered some roadblocks during the thought process. Needless to say, some things still need to be re-imagined, like how things will scale for mobile devices. http://dribbble.com/shots/1475703-NodeBB-Theme
Thinking, the off-canvas effect would be a two-level option, Categories > Discussions.
@randymdaniel I love it! The sidebar would completely replace the need for the "home" page (the button might actually trigger the sidebar instead), and it's a more mobile centred approach, which I'd imagine would end up looking more like Google's latest iteration with the sidebars in the Gmail app:
The great part about this is that the limit is your imagination -- and NodeBB can do it because it's so damn flexible.
In the above screenshot, the sidebar is pushing the content over, but I think an "drawer" effect is better, where it slides out and obscures the content below it (like the post composer does right now)
Ah, you're running raiders.io yourself -- best of luck!
