On mobile devices the notifications aren't immidiately shown unless you click on the side panel. It would be nice to see a notification marker of some sorts on the navbar.

Yhea just figured I was something to note, maybe for a future, adding options to the picture icon that could float it as you say. I love markdown and use it daily for writing articles. I've tried Redactor and it's nice, but in the end, I went back to default one.

I guess I better dig out the DeLorean....

I see a lot of uses for it, think about combining it with an event plugin.
