What should I learn (and write) about deploying next?

Thanks! I'm probably going to disable federation to begin with (although it's a very exciting thing that you implemented it), until I understand better the sort of community we'll be building and the pros and cons of federating for us. I'll also want to read a lot of documentation. So many questions about that—will there be a whitelisting option? Is there support for object storage?
But for now I'll be focusing on getting transactional emails and so on working, setting up monitoring and a little optimization, etc.

@julian since you offered: my user is having an issue with size limits on uploads. She is trying to upload some profile pictures that are below the size limit but the application is saying that they are too big.
I was able to upload a profile photo with no problem.
Trying to triage, I can't find any logs that could pertain to it, do you have any ideas where I might look for clues?

@[email protected] @[email protected] sure, can you let me know the error you're seeing?
The upload size can be configured in the ACP (under Settings -> Uploads), but you'll also need to update your reverse proxy config to allow larger uploads too.

@[email protected] @[email protected] the value is saved in the client side. If the setting is changed in the admin panel, please have the affected user refresh their browser.
