Troubleshooting recent cards plugin not showing any topics

That means there were more than 20 scheduled topics do you have a lot of scheduled topics?

yes @baris, the other administrator actually wrote a lot of scheduled topics (x21)

Yeah that's why, recent cards plugin is loading the most recent 20 topics and then filtering the ones that are scheduled since you have more than 20, nothing is left to display. I will make small change in recent-cards plugin so it loads more if they are all scheduled.

Ok @baris, in the meantime, does that mean that I have to publish his subjects so that the widget works correctly again i guess?

You would have to publish some of the most recent ones and they would probably show up in the recent cards plugin.

Install it with npm i [email protected] Then restart nodebb, you can remove all the console.logs as well.

@DownPW no worries, there is no limit I changed the recent-cards plugin so it loads topics until it finds some. So you can have 100 scheduled topics if you want

On the other hand that doesn't really explain to me why this was only done for admins unless it's because only admins can see scheduled topics and in this case, it's related.

Yeah that's why, admins can see them on other places like /recent but we don't want them in recent cards. It is not an issue when you have a few (2,3) because you would still see 17+ topics. But if they were all scheduled then nothing was showing up.
