Can I see nodeBB database in MongoDBCompass?

@Topper You need to exit the mongo cli before executing those commands

@PitaJ I found that mongo cli is the MonoDBShell eg. the mongosh cmd?
I tried putting the commands into the GIT cmd (with mongosh closed) but there it throws the error command unknown.

You said you tried git bash and it didn't work? What is the error exactly? Try using cmd or PowerShell built into Windows.

Windows cmd says that the command "mongo" is written wrong or cant be found. Powershell also gives an error.

@Topper how did you install mongodb? Did you [add the mongo binaries to your PATH as documented here] (https://docs.nodebb.org/installing/os/windows/)?

@PitaJ I now saw that I used Version 6.0 of MongodB instead of 5. In the path I wrote 5 thought. I guess I have to do some steps again

@1019-h i have looked it up again. In my installation the database nodebb is visible. I have to say that the installation guide wasnt 100% accurate for me (Windows). After some help from people that have a better understanding of this stuff, I managed to get my forum running locally, and recently also online.

You can tell me where you are stuck in your installation, maybe i can give you some help.

@Topper Sorry, finally I figured out how to look at the database ! I just switched to PostgreSQL and used Beekeeper to actually see it. Thanks !
