Rocket.Chat SSO + embed plugin for Nodebb
-
Rocket.Chat has more features than native chat. Users can chat and share the desktop, make calls and many other functions. It's similar to facebook messenger, even better. If we integrate nodebb and rocket. chat, we will get a powerful community platform with an excellent user experience.
A similar solution is available in discourse, phpfox and some other platforms.

I don't want to be in a condition with you. Rocketchat was my favorite chat for a long time.
But currently, the king of integrations is Matrix
[https://matrix.org], look at their clients [https://element.io] -
@anonymouswebhacker Matrix requires more server resources. For small and medium-sized forums, Rocket. chat can be installed on the same server with nodebb and use a single database. Installing rocket. chat is no different from installing nodebb.

Rocket.chat has more integrations than any other chat (messengers, chatbots, CRM, etc.) -

@julian 1. Rocket.chat has been used for many years as a live chat in forums and social networks and has proven its effectiveness.
2. Nodebb is not a federated forum and the matrix protocol will never be needed. Although rocket.chat supports the federation.
3. Nodebb and rocket.chat use the same technologies (javascript, nodejs, mongodb, Websockets, etc.). The matrix server is written in python, does anyone want to learn python?
4. Rocket.chat has more developers, which means there are fewer problems with support in the future.
5. You don't need to be a technical specialist to integrate with rocket.chat.
6. You don't need to learn other languages and technologies to support nodebb+rocket.chat.
7. Now rocket.chat is more stable than matrix/element and has many more functions and integrations. Matrix/element users constantly complain about errors and bugs.
I don't see any advantages of the matrix api for nodebb, now and in the long term -

Very good idea because admin can moderate tchat
Actually, we have just nodbb gloabal tchat plugin. It's very good because he use native discussion but he has not moderate tools.
too bad because is not bad
-
I want test it and to install it but it's difficult with mongodb auth.
I fail to install.O will wait an update of tchat box on nodebb with moderate tools and official.
It's the only things for nodebb: a good plugins BDD/store and official updates with nodebb updates like GLPI for example. -
I am looking for a developer capable of creating such an integration. Suggestions in the chat

@volanar budget?
Your suggestions, I'm willing to pay. Now my main problem is how to translate categories and category descriptions into another language. Is it possible to do this in code so as not to use plugins?
I want the categories to be translated into 2 languages, from English to a second language on the forum -
