Anchor links on another page

There are posts where I use anchor links

[link name](#anchor-name)

I want to index with links into the anchors
I tried to do https://domain.com/post/1#anchors
It only works on a new tab
what can be done

Create an account on github https://github.com/
Head on over to NodeBB's github page https://github.com/NodeBB/NodeBB
Click on the "Issues" tab https://github.com/NodeBB/NodeBB/issues
Then select "New issue" and fill in the info from your original post.

Ah, the wonders of Markdown flavors and extensions. I'm not a developer so I'd wait for e.g. @PitaJ to weigh in on this one. OTOH, you can still file a bug/feature issue and the devs can choose how to handle it from there.
