SweetCaptcha

Has anybody considered using SweetCaptcha. It is said to work on the iPhone and Android, but I'm not sure how you drag-and-dop on a touch device.
It has a Node.js SDK.

I think this is a pretty unsecure one, since even a stupid algorithm would match 1/4.
There seem to be better ones within npm like ayah and the conventional ones.
I hope the plugin-author will give the possibility to choose between some of them -
a simple challenge response is often better and less annoying than those captcha's.
I run a pretty decent minecraft forum, and during reg it asks a simple question, "what game are you here to play?" Or complete the word mine_____, so far little to no spam and its been up 4 years.
-
I really have no preference. I just want something to thwart spam registrations. @frissdiegurke, ayah seems a little bit too involved, and @kelso, yes, that actually sounds like a good one.
It's now a question of which one @baris, @psychobunny and @julian will choose to implement. Fingers crossed.

If its going to be a plugin I would hope that we'd just need to make one as a skeleton for any other dev to implement their own version

@planner, @psychobunny means that we'd create a fully-functional CAPTCHA plugin, and allow other developers to look at the code and create their own derivatives

The English language is an interesting thing. To quote Winston Churchill, "It is a universal language that divides us all." Who would have thought that skeleton means the same thing as fully-functional. But I'l give that a , never mind what the language means or doesn't mean.
